Summary: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating the CNC machine; maintains quality work and safety standards, quality control and stamp parts. Maintains equipment, tools and supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
· Reads and interprets prints for job.
· Cuts raw material according to prints for job.
· Sets up tooling and operates lathe or mill to make parts in accordance with company safety standards.
· Inspects all parts for accuracy according to prints and documents on the quality control sheets.
· Engrave all parts with part numbers.
· Wash and inspect all parts.
· Lubricate and package parts with proper labels (part number and description).
· Tear down tooling, clean and inspect machines.
· Clean work area and empty trash.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License. Knowledge of and familiarity with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers); API (American Petroleum Institute); NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers).
Other Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office experience or equivalent.
