Summary: Disassembles and assemble various makes and models of compressor frames per company and manufacturers recommended specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow schedule for workflow to achieve goals set by Management.

• Perform duties in a team atmosphere where cooperation and courtesy is mandatory.

• Disassemble compressor frames in a clean and organized manner.

• Inspect and Document each step of the disassembly process by utilizing a prepared as-found form.

• Prepare the needed parts list, utilizing a prepared parts list template, in a timely manner.

• Assemble compressor frames and components assuring accurate clearances and tolerances are per manufacture recommended specifications.

• Document the clearances and findings of each step of the assembly process to assure the quality of the frame, and for future review.

• Verifies conformance of finished work to manufacture specifications.

• Assure the safe operation of various machines in the shop.

• Putting Safety First in all activities associated with M&J Valve Services. .

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities: Basic skills with precision tools such as Micrometers, dial indicator, etc..

Other Qualifications: Valid Drivers License with excellent driving history.
